What a wonderful time to be a quilter. We have so many wonderful tools and fabrics that were unavailable to our grandmothers. I own a small quilt shop in Gatlinburg TN. It seems to be a constant challange. Just keeping up with 9-5 six days a week is all I’ve ever wanted to do, and now all of a sudden I have decided to do a blog and web site. Wow! Can I squeeze another hour into the day? So many quilts to make and this morning my daughter asked me to make a dress for sugarfoot. While I have been so busy with the shop I forgot to make clothing for the babies. The leaves are just beginning to turn.

Just wanted to let you know that we made it back home last night about 11:00 p.m. We had a wonderful trip!!!! It was so nice to visit with you and Clark. I had to rest today but can’t wait to get busy on all the projects that Sylvia and I purchased from you. The only problem that I am having is trying to decide which quilt I will start first. It may even be the quilted jacket. Will let you know. Friends from Mississippi, Kathy and Sylvia.
Wow Mom! What a great web site. I am so proud of you and Missy. I never thought my mom would be more technically advanced than I am! It is beautiful. I can’t wait to read your blogs.
