Fat Quarter Sale

Happy Thanksgiving to all my customers! In thankfulness for all our blessings we are having our “FAT QUARTER” SALE again, November 24-29. We will not be cutting any fat quarters during this week or breaking up any bundles. We will be closed November 27.

Here is a quick candy that doesn’t take long to make and everyone will think you have worked sooooo hard! Leaves plenty of time to quilt.

1 bag chocolate chips
1 stick butter
1 cup chopped nuts
powdered sugar

Melt chocolate chips and butter in a large bowl in the microwave on low for 1 minute at a time. Let this cool a little and add 1 bag of miniture marshmallows and 1 cup of chopped nuts. Mix this until the marshmallows are coated with the chocolate. Spread in a 9×13 glass dish and sprinkle with powered sugar. Chill overnight or at least a couple of hours. Slice into squares and enjoy.

I promise this will be a hit! It freezes well.

I made both of my grandaughters a quilt recently. Here is a picture of little Sugarbritches with hers. The front has a darling duck print and the back is floral. I also made her a matching sheet with the floral print.

Here’s a closeup.

Merry and Bright

Thursday, November 6th, 2008

I just finished up this quilt. It’s from Moda’s Merry and Bright line of fabric. This is the third quilt I’ve made with this fabric. Everyone seems to love it, including my girls.
